Erogamer and Watching Mode / Gamers and Half their Life Game (エロゲーマーと観戦モード/ゲーマーズと半生ゲーム, Erogēmā to Kansen Mōdo / Gēmāzu to Hansei Gēmu) is the eighth episode of the Gamers! anime series, first broadcast on August 31, 2017.

Short Summary Edit

Chiaki's younger sister Konoha, who secretly enjoys erotic games, overhears Keita and Eiichi at the game shop, taking comfort in Keita recommending an old game she also has a fondness for. Later, the Gamers play a Love Love Game of Half-Life board game together, becoming even more awkward as a result of the oddly specific spaces they land on. Just as Tasuku and Aguri manage to clear up some of the misunderstandings between each other, Chiaki finally discovers that Keita was her online friend and the one supporting her freeware games this entire time.

  • Coincidentally, the board game's name pays homage to the Half-Life series.
  • On the Japanese dub of the episode, Chiaki mentioned "Nyoro~n" while spacing out at the final scene. This word is actually the catchphrase of Churuya-san, the super-deformed version of Tsuruya from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series (she often mentioned this once she felt defeated or disappointed), which became a famous meme.
